Paul Daley won the Feature race at LQSS on the February Open Day, 2004 Looks like he was running a fairly flat top wing and a very raked front wing that day.... My notes say that he was leading the January Feature when he broke and that the next weekend after the Feb win he ran 3rd in the Feature at Whittlesea VIC....He was on a tear as they say... ...Photo Bob Jeffreson

HA HA..Your ignorance is excused Kevin..... Dubai is not the hotbed of 1/4 scale dirt track racing....yet. Hey...There's 1 car there, so that's a start! The Daley #99 sprinter was built by Terry Bennett of Bullet Racecars, Charles St Eastllakes Sydney Australia. Terry's the same guy that built my latest car, as pictured on QSL. Builds an exceptional product....what ever it is! Here's the man himself, after a Vintage Midget Feature win at LQSS Sept 2004.Crook Photo Bob Jeffreson

Bob: Thanks for the info ... I'm assuming it's a shaft drive car. In other news ... I moved home to Canada last week and my MiniMax will be arriving here with all of my other 1/4 scale stuff sometime mid June. It rains here ..... so there's mud to drive in Kevin

Yes Kev, it is a drive line car. Or should I say was! It's now chain driven. My sprintcar was the 1st Terry Bennett Bullet constructed using belt drive. Good luck with the move back to Canada. Now you may be able to give the sprinter a thrash on a 1/4 scale track...are there any in Canada? Just over the border there may be a few!

I'm not sure if there are any guys running sprint cars in the Toronto area but there are a some over the border in NY, only a 2 hour drive from my house in Toronto Other news: While in Dubai I developed a taste for Australian wine ..... so the other day I bought some Canadian (yes we produce some good wines here) and an Australian to compare .... well I've finished the Oz stuff and now I'm into the Canadian ..... I'm going to the store tomorrow to buy more Australian ;D Kevin
