It's in a terrifc location. Right beside the1/5 on road track and also an off road buggy track, in an industrial estate that should not pose too many noise issues.
Click on this link and put in Leitchs Rd and Strathwyn St, Brendale. Google maps takes you so close , you can see the rubber laid on the 1/5 on road track. Hey, put the address in Google Earth, much better view.
Check out the road track, that said, not much room for the speedway.

Looks like the track will be situated right beside, what looks like a main road . That will be fantastic exposure. With the on and off road tracks and the speedway in such close proximty the entire RC complex will be amazing. Probably result in some crossover members.
Ron Williams told me yesterday that last saturday they marked where the track will be situated on the land. I think that the only thing holding back some dirt being turned is the local council signing off on the paperwork.
He also mentioned that the QLD club now has 22 sprintcars on the books, with the majority being "going cars."

Rob Lowe mentioned last race day at LQSS, that the 1/5 on road cars at Brendale, race on the England Park Raceway.
Does this mean that the new speedway track will be known as the England Park 1/4 Scale Speedway....

no i don't think so we haven't come up with a name yet just trying to get a track there first.
here a few suggestions
brendale 1/4 scale super speedway
brendale powerdome
brendale 1/4 scale raceway
no matter what we call it i hope it is just a great track to race on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
