For the benefit of those guests from far and wide that do not regularly check out the Gallery, here's LQSS as it looks right now. New white wooden base on catch fence... Covered pits right across turns 1 and 2.... Lap scorers building beside drivers stand... 3 car garage to house track prep vehiclesAnother Shazza photo I presume.

Yeah it does look good but it would look even better if it had a new surface. 50 tonne of dirt should do it!

I've got a little job for you nextcontestant... You find the 50 tonnes of dolomite and I'll pay for it with the ex AQSSA money, that is sitting in my safe just waiting to be spent on dirt.

Bob, the little job you gave me is just about complete. I found dolomite at Mudgee for $60 per tonne + GST.
Im am waiting for them to get back to me as they had to get in contact with the freight company on how much it will cost for delivery.

That costing will come out way above what I've got to spend. I suppose I'm still recalling the days of free delivery and about $25 a tonne. The numbers above will $3500ish.

The search for dolomite is not over. Tomorrow morning im going to get some samples that i will bring on sunday. Not sure of the cost yet. Im sure whatever the price is, something can be sorted out as the track desperately needs it.

As I said, I can put up $700 towards the cost. Maybe the SSME can freight some of it.

Not a problem.
It really wasn't that hard to find. With a bit of effort, you can do or in this case
find anything.
