One week to Chili Bowl, Entries nudging 300
TULSA, Okla. (January 6, 2009) – One more week. That's all that remains before the 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals presented by General Tire gets under way at the QuikTrip Center's Tulsa Expo Raceway.
Following next Monday's practice session, five full nights of racing ensue on Tuesday through Saturday, January 13-17, as drivers from the nation converge upon the Tulsa State Fairgrounds in pursuit of the coveted Golden Driller trophy.
And the entry count has climbed into uncharted territory, reaching the 293 mark and putting last year's record competitor count of 274 in serious jeopardy of going by the wayside
