happy new year to all the queenslanders wasted no time for there first race for 09 it was on sunday the 4th with a few cars missing we still had a good roll up 11 sprintcars, 8 mod rods, 4 amcas. yes ron williams has been beaten by butch rooke for his first a main win. the racing was fast with the exemption for new sprintcar driver tim who found his car over the fence in his second race. mod rod feature went to second time racer john from trackside rc on the last lap. amcas were down a few cars by the time the feature but was won by doug barber. we all had a good time and will be racing again on the 18th feb. cant wait

dont forget brians roll 8 times or so before it hit the track, tims sprint car is getting some love tommorrow .big thanks to everyone for a great meeting

Ron Williams was beaten....I trust the QLD 1/4 scale stewards called for swabs. Which one of these guys was or wasn't on the turps!
Anyway well done guys for what sounds like a terrific days racing. Congrats to Brian for the new QLD record of 8 or so rolls before hitting the track. He never can do that many when he comes to Sydney!

gday bob that is what happens when i tried to feed ron a wheel, i think i came off second best but dont worry a few radius rods & wing mounts and im back for another go........ ron couldnt handle the pressure put on by myself, scotty craig in the flying "bullzye" & the first time amain winner butch rooke. we had first 25 lap final on sunday with only 7 stoppages, not bad. if any sydney siders would like to have a run at nudgee powerdome on the 18th jan let me know.. we finally got our drivers stand & i will send you pictures when i can. thank you q4 hiline racing

yes bob there was no pressure they just forgot to mention i dnf due to rollover and broken steering links. hey but i will be back in 2 weeks to try again

tims sprintcar is all fixed just over one hour and was good as new, two weeks cant wait

Q5 fixed as well cant wait. still working on mod rod hopefully can join the exciting racing with you guys
