The things one finds on the 'net never ceases to amaze me.....I still think the 'net is "white man's magic"...how do they do it? ...anyway.. This is considered to be the 1st RC quarter scale sprintcar ever. Built in America around 1979 by Jeff Schmidt, under the name of "Pacesetter". It came with a "quick change style" rear end, that I'm lead to believe was actually made by him as well. A wonderful piece of history for the class..

Hey Bob The guy that runs the quarterscale legends website still has access to the original moulds for the pacesetter if you are interested.
He also has access to the full size blueprints and building manual if you are interested.
