Anyone else watch the sale this less than perfect Pacesetter on ebay. I had a shot at US$850, which turned out to be not even on the close side of the deal. Ended up going to someone with a whole lot of disposable coin for AU$5694,20 plus shipping. Holy smoke! Might list mine to test the market on a complete 'as new' model.

Cynthia, the lady who owned the car told me she sold the Pacesetter to a man in Germany. All is now clear why the price went so high. When Olivier Sebastiani of Hamburg, the biggest 1/4 scale collector in the world, wants something he always get it. No matter what the cost. He has been quiet for some time now. Looks like he's back buying again. That's bad news for the rest of collectors in the hobby.

Some more of his smaller scale collection. I suggest that Olivier owns more RC cars than anyone on the planet. Notice how he never shows his face. In all the years I've known of him, I don't know what he looks like.

Some more pics and no face visible. He keeps a low profile.
