Today I dropped into Valvoline Raceway, after getting permission to shoot some pics of my cars. A big thanks to Steve Green and Steve May, the new Marketing boss for the warm welcome and the posting of the cars on the Valvoline Raceway Facebook page.

Rob, The 2 Packwood Team Super Modifieds will never be fired up again. They haven't run since the last time they were raced by Steve and Mike Packwood, back in the late 1990s. The Phoenix Bullet downtube car is one of only 10 built by Gary Easter and Bill Burnstein, in Phoenix Arizona circa 1989. The other car was built by Tom Hughes in California. The production run was more than the Bullets, around 50 or so. They rarely ever come up for sale on the 1/4 scale market. I basically found this one by accident and the owner was happy enough to sell it to reunite the cars after nearly 2 decades apart.
