Every 1 in 3 posts on this site is mine! That's OK! I've enjoyed the time and the interaction. GEEZ ... F*#k me ...I've tried hard to keep it going! Been checking out the site since December 22rd and nothing! Lots of people log on and nothing has been posted! It may just be the Christmas Holidays.. I don't know.... As I have said in the past....A Forum is a place of discussion or debate, not a place to read and say nothing! That's called a library, where you read in quiet and say nothing! Recently RC Universe shut down through lack of activity and that was sad! I think the Forum at LQSS may be headed that way. Someone else can take over my role as chief poster! I think maybe it's "good bye" to LQSS! It's been a good time and now it's quite probably over! My life now, has other more important priorities! Bob Jeffreson

Hi Bob Yes your site is, shall we say "quiet", there appears to be an exodus of members from the club. Westoz is quiet on the forum but FB go's ok. Westoz committee is very active behind the scenes, big year for Westoz 2015

Bob I Have enjoyed reading most of your posts over the years.
In the West there seams to be more happening on Face Book than the Club Forum.
It seems that if anyone is chasing info on our Club or photos of cars and such our Face book page is kept up to date more regularly.

Bob thanks I have also enjoyed most of your posts on this site and Im always reading them but I dont add much as when I do it often goes down the wrong way my replies can be a bit direct. I agree with you on your comment that Luddenham is going down hill and its happened very quickly and that's a shame because I enjoy coming down there to race and hope to continue. Whats changed you guys have plenty of old members why don't you have a special day to get them all back to the track to spark things off. The park takes all your money you make what do they do with it just sit on their arse and spend it on tea and cake. Vinces comment that he has packed his car up for the titles and not going to race. Thats the wrong attitude how does that help your local club keep the numbers up and if he was from Queensland if you don't do three events for that calender year you don't qualify for tittles this is to make people support their clubs so then he wouldn't be racing in titles. Also there are people in your club that love to make things hard for others and I've meet quite a few over the years coming to Sydney to race these wankers need to go back to having fun racing or move on and let new members come in to the club to get new blood in the club. Even if it means turning a blind eye if their car is not quite right with the rules how are the meant to know.
Rob Hodkinson will be missed greatly from our sport and your club this is a good example of people pissing off a valuable member and its a great shame as his whole family were behind your club and were great to race against.I cant believe no one didn't see all this happening and do something about it I know he was very upset when he sold his gear and didn't find it an easy decision to make. I hope one day he returns but I cant see that happening as I have all his gear.
Dont give up Bob it just takes the right people to come alone and get things going again and every member needs to pitch in. Now lets see how much interest my message gets.

Richard rooke , first you better check the rules for national titles , as it clearly states that you must compete in 3 events and be a financial member which I am , I not racing my demon car as I'm getting it ready for aussie titles , the motor is getting sent over by Australia post as it can't be flown across so the whole car is dismantle, regardless of this , im building a another car . You say that's the wrong attitude, I have done a lot for this club as other members have but dew to work , I can't be there all the time , at least I'm also supporting the aussie titles no matter where they are held ......

As john said it will be great to see Vince in the West.
For me the racing is not all about winning I just love the camaraderie between members and the chance to catch up with other people in this great country of ours who enjoy our sport.
It is very important that we be open to helping new members in setting cars up so that we can have some great racing.
Always encourage people to go forward, as this builds the spirit that grows a club and a sport.
The West OZ Committee are working very hard to try and make this Australian Titles a great experience for those who take the time to travel.

Like you sad Bob people read all the notes but don't put anything forward for discussion.

Richard, QLD should rethink about that rule , cause its so unfair to its members that would like to contest aussie titles.

that's ok vince to remove the rule but I would like to see club members support there clubs instead of racing once a year. if we all did that the club would not survive. we brought that rule so someone who has not raced in the club for 12 months or more with no support just decides to show up for one meeting and not race again for years. wrong I think just my thoughts

Steamer , I agree what you are saying , I think the club should make it that you should compete 3 meetings in the last 6 rounds before aussie titles , then if you wanna go you can , the way it is now , you have to do everything at the last moment , but that's my thoughts .
