Recently I was in the UK on holidays. I was staying with some friends on the southern English coast at Worthing. One day we went to see the best preserved Castle in the UK. It's Arundel and is still lived in by the family. It's possible to tour the entire Estate and it was just breath-taking. Anyway in the small town I walked past a Militaria Shop. There in the front window was the tether car that I'd seen on ebay. I told my wife and sister-in-law I catch up to them and went inside. There were three blokes talking over a 15 inch long live steam model steamroller. I didn't interrupt and checked out the tether cars. There 2 more inside the shop. After about 8/10 minutes of no interaction with any of the people, I walked out. I didn't really need the car! When we finished checking out the town, I was walking past the shop again and there was only 1 dude inside, so I walked in. The guy behind the counter said I was in the shop earlier and could he assist me with anything. I asked him the price of the tether car..... he got all excited "200 pounds" he said. A quick calculation gave me about 360 dollars...much cheaper than ebay and no shipping. He asked "was I interested" and I said "I was when I was in the shop 1/2 hour earlier and no-one spoke to me, however my wife spent all my cash in the meantime so you missed out" and left the shop giggling, to a chorus of "I take credit cards...I take credit cards". For me it was a big "Pretty Woman" moment "Big mistake"
