If these are the dates for the Aussie titles wouldn't it be more official and confirmed coming from a member of the WA committee who is responsible for posting this information so people can book in advance. This would be a great help as planning time of is not easy thank you.

Queensland Quarter scale Secretary. Richard Rooke Hi Richard better check if you can run your DEMON car in Perth before planning. I believe only the PREDATOR plate car is allowed at the Perth club however they may make an exception for the Australian Titles??

Hi les. Heard that you guys have brought in a rule that the wings must be hard fixed. Most. Guys run the cars with Velcro on the wings. Can you confirm or elaborate so that everyone going to the titles have their cars conforming. Thanks in advance

Jeff, The rules that the 2015 titles are going to be run to will be a National rule set which will be confirmed and posted for everyone to see after the QLD Titles. we hope that once these rules are agreed upon all National titles in the future will be run to these to avoid confusion.
Thanks Mikey

National rules , NSW members will vote on what has been put forward by other states for national rules , you can't have your committee to decide what these rules are , so I can't see national rules coming into effect after the QLD titles , but maybe in the new year ......

Dale , I think all members should have a say in National Rules and it should be decided how long before any rules can be changed , its up to the members from other states to speak up or accept the rules for National Rules ......

dont get me wrong im all for having national rules for title events.but as im saying and you are also,is whos making the calls ?,who are these people,?who put them in these positions?,is there an on record document as to how people are apponted? just so everyone is informed and not just a golden circle of being priveliged to info. it is a step to unified title rules.

Dale I agree what you are saying , do we let the committee of each state decide national rules or do we elect one person from each state to decide national rules , I would like each state to have the same rules , then we can build cars and be sold all over Australia to race any where in Australia , I'm sick of asking if my DEMON plate car can race in any state other than SYDNEY .....

You guys are quick to knock what Mike Mark and Rob are trying to do maybe this is why there are so many problems. When rules are done its simple the rules are taken back to each club and each club gets to have their own vote on the rules this is all noted and sent back to who ever is looking after this task. Then all the clubs votes on each item are put together and that will be the rule so go and support your club and have your vote when QLD titles are over so we can get on with running meetings. These rules will be made up from input from every club so remember you may not get every thing you want just be grateful people are trying to get it as best they can. It may also be good for older members to cast your views on rules but only problem you have to be financial with your club to vote. Thanks Queensland Secretary. Richard Rooke.
Vince a Demon is a Predator and they are allowed so whats the problem. Also most other cars are home made so how can anyone rule on a type of car that can race every where else it will get supported.

thanks richard for shedding light on the process.this is unknown to some people as to how this is going to be implimented.i dont see where i was KNOCKING i was mearly asking questions which every person that owns a 1/4 scale car or is a member of a club has a right to do.
mike, mark and rob are doing the best thing for the sport. the more people informed the unified we will be.

I haven't said much about the national rules but I believe the committees of each club should deal with it. With letting general club members have a say we will be still talking about this in 3 years time and most of the general members will have an agenda to suit them selves. As a long time supporter of this sport I would to see the committees finalize the rules as quick as possible. With that said I myself may not agree with some of the rules but if that's what have been decided that's what will be running. Don't forget when they do these new rules there will be no sh!t fights about specs and we can go and have fun & race. Bring the national rules asap!!!! ron Williams long time supporter

It will be done the same way the on road RC cars are run they have a national body which involves another committee and these guys only look after national rules once they are set.Sorry about the knocking wasn't aimed at you but we do get a lot of it.Most rules are already similar the hardest one is that each state have a different class of car for their entry level eg. QLD use the dirt mod. NSW use the speed car. I would like to see a committee selected and a site set up so all info and state events are there to be excessed at any time by any club member.

a committee is a positive idea. one or two members voted in from each club in australia.but this is just an opinion im throwing out there, the members voted in can not have or be,eg a manufacture,a supplier,or have a retail outlet (in a position to gain finacnaly).this is so the board is 100% un biased in the process. also is this going to include the format, conduct, non compliant rulings, saftey regs for host tracks to comply with. just ideas and thoughts.

Guys,
Thank you for all the suggestions and thank you also for your support in what we all know is a very delicate matter. Once Myself, Rob and Mark have met we will be letting you all know the rules that have been decided well in advance of the titles at Easter.
Cheers Mikey

I am a long time supporter of quarter scale and for 7years was president of the Australian quarter scale speedway association.back then all rules or changes were put to all members at the agm held on conjunction with the Aussie titles.any changes that were approved cme into effect after those titles.i started conversations some time ago about getting back to one set of rules and am glad to see that we are close to getting just that.the three guys nominated by their clubs have done a great job so whatever they have come up with we should all get behind and support them so that when we all get together at a national or state title we are all on the same page. Bottom note......we don't need an association again where everyone had to be a member of to compete at events or to vote because we areemners of our own clubs.

Vince, the draft rules have already been put up for viewing but a confirmed set will be put up after the 31st of December. Sprintcars should not see any changes as it is mainly the other classes that are being discussed.
any queries please feel free to give me a call
Cheers
