There are some terrific deals in the 'States these days. People seem to be selling off their gear at very affordable prices. I grabbed this pre 1987 running Pacesetter Hi Tech sprintcar out of New Jersey recently, when it attracted not much interest. It was built by Jeff Schmidt prior to him walking away from the Pacesetter Company, after a dispute with his partner in 1987. I will probably restore it to its original livery. It came with the original bonnet and some spares and it's a very tidy car. Runs a 35cc Quadra engine and is chain drive. I might just fire it up to find out what that pipe sounds like!

My mate Dan Wilson, finds all sorts of information on 1/4 scale. He found these pics of my Pacesetter Hi Tech sprinter and sent them to me the other day. The car is pictured mid 2013 at Wall Speedway NJ, during a display by the then owner, Mike Consales' 1/4 scale club. That's Mike seated behind the car.
