Formula 1 conducts a world wide competition for school students aged 9 to 19, called 'F1 in Schools'. Australian students have won for the last 3 years. Did anyone know about this achievement? The latest win came in Austin Texas on November 13, with students from Qld and Vic working together. Racing their car was only one part of the competition. Concept, Design, R&D, Manufacture, Business Management, Funding, Presentation, etc, etc, make up the overall result. The whole deal is just as a F1 team would operate. This year 9 million students from around the world, started out in the comp. Everyone should google and you tube "F1 in Schools" and read the whole story. It's amazing and I'm certain these kids will end up with huge careers in F1 or automotive design. The winning Team
