Finally decided to put this "as new" Quickdraw together for the Camden Display day. Purchased it many years ago and it's been sitting in a box. I always intended to put my Bulldog wheels on it, so last week I had Terry Bennett do some work and get them fitted. Trev didn't make them to fit 1/2 inch axles....silly bugger! This was only ever to be a "shelf queen" and it will remain as that. Way to nice to run!

Here's the advertisement from 1989 for the Quickdraw Sprintcar. It's easy to see why I fell in love with these gorgeous 1/4 scale cars. US$1600 would have been a shipload of money back then!

Jim, Mate, What do you reckon...nice car or what? Thanks for the tip, however this sprinter is never ever going to see a race surface, so the suspension is irrelevant. She's a "show car & shelf queen". Even so maybe I should still fit the carby... ....oops Health is not too bad these days...we're getting there slowly. Thanks for the concern. BJ

Lance Love and Todd Bishop were once a partnership. Here's Lance from 1989 running his new Quickdraw sprinter.

Back in July 2009 Steve Baker posted 3 photos of a Quickdraw sprint car that is in Sydney. This is it.....just magnificent.

Doing some researching for Quickdraw sprinters and found this. This is the sprintcar in Sydney, that was sold out of New Jersey USA in 2007 for US$1,800 including everything on the table.

Recently I managed to track down in northern California, Mitch and Paula Cary. They were the builders of the Quickdraw sprint cars, back in the day. We exchanged some emails and today as promised, an original promotional flyer, arrived in the post.
