For those who knew Nobby there is going to be a send off for him on Saturday 19th October 2013 at 1pm at the Penfield Club House in Adelaide. This will be followed by a lap of the track with his ashes and a few laps by some of his race cars. All welcome to attend. If any one wishes to come and if they want to say a few words at Nobby's send off could you please let us know for organising and catering purposes. Contact penfieldquarterscale@gmail.com |

I spoke to John Cooper today and Pat Noble asked John to be the master of Ceremonies. Cannot think of a better person to do the service!

Just speaking with Jeff Griffith. Jeff attended the send off for Nobby last weekend at Penfield Park SA. Great too see that other interstaters Les Blechynden, Brian O'Shannessy and Rob Combs also attended alongside the friends and local members, to remember a man who was there right at the start of the 1/4 scale sprintcar revolution in Australia.
