To Dave50, ah Mr Rep.
I know our current regs allow a unmodified 260rc motor (up to SS specs only). I believe we may have to look at the new 25.4cc 270 Zenoahs (for dirt modifieds). If not for now but certainly for next year we will have to look at them.

Greg. For the time being we will stay with the name buggies because we cannot expect people who otherwise be not able to afford bodies be driven away from the class. Bodies are optional at the moment. I think we should also adopt a fairly standard set of specs for the class to stop cost spiralling.. IE: Make the BAJA 5 B SS the maxiumum in measurements in regards to motor size wheel sizes length height and so on. Just my personal thoughts not those of section leader me... LOL!

As the number of HPI's are growing , would it be an option to have a buggy class (standard) and a v8 dirt modified class (modified with the option, of hot up parts)?

The only problem I see with that Dave, is that most of the buggies out there now ARE modified. I believe that MOST of the Dirt Mod are reasonable standard up to SS spec. I would like to see the Dirt Mods stay as we voted for. My 2cents worth
