I was just re-reading this article and realised I probably posted this many years ago, so a lot of people would not have seen this story. It was in Oval Track magazine May 1989.
It was my 1st inkling that there 1/4 scale sprintcars in Australia. I'd seen many 1/4 scale stories in many USA mags, but this was a real revelation.
Only trouble was that they were in Victoria. I put my 1/4 scale ambitions on the back burner for another 9 years.
