Strolling around the Elimbah 1/4 scale speedway on Saturday was none other than Richard Anderson, the 1994 Australian 1/4 scale sprintcar Champion.
I had the pleasure of spending about 45 minutes with Richard, listening to some fantasic stories from back in the day.
Another big thank you to Mark Davis for organising the visit. I'd harassed Mark for ages about getting to meet Richard.
BTW... Richard was not the 1st Champion 18 years ago, so the Australian Title has a fair bit of history associated with its running!

While staying with Mark, he kindly passed on to me, some Q scale material given to him by Richard. Unfortuneately most of the old literature is long gone, however I managed to get hold of what remained.This is one of the Brochures Richard collected over 20 years ago.
