Bob Jeffreson, Mathew Turner and Rob Richards put on this display at the 2003 Classic 'Fan Appreciation Day' in Warrnambool, Victoria.
This is the display that got Dave & myself into 1/4 scale speedway racing!
Bet they're kicking themselves for it now.. hehe..

These 3 cars created havoc at the 'fan appreciation day' Warrnambool 2003. Matt Turner pulled his sprinter through the town, along the centre grass median strip, to get to the Reserve and caused motorists to almost drive off the road, when they spotted the V5 1/4 scale sprinter.
Although not shown in this pic, we had people 10 deep around the cars, later that morning.
I sold a BULLET car to a local, Mark Sonego later that day.
I cannot recall Kristen and Dave Smith that day... which I now find amazing, however we hooked them.....the display was obviously successful.....It should be done again!

Has there ever been a display of the 1/4 scale sprint cars at Parramatta speedway to attract interest?

I think you had already packed up and gone home! I can only recall seeing Matty Turner's car.
Classic '09 sounds good for another display!

Can't remember, but the spectators seem to be more interested in your food than the cars..
