Hello,
I've cut, bent & pieced together one half of my first chassis using 10mm mild steel tubing.
I've setup on a sheet of MDF.
My question is how do I go about joining the pieces together.
I got all I need to braze but have never tried this before!
Any advice would be much appreciated. I'm taken great joy in getting to this stage & want to do the brazing myself.
Thanks in advance
Cheers
Fraser

i have built plenty of Chassis' the same way i used a gasless mig welder to tack the pieces together then i used a bernzomatic torch with mapp gas and comcoat pink brazing rods to braze them. Bunnings has these items and it seems to hold together just fine and i have been crashing 1/4 scale cars for decades
