Hi all. new to 1/4 scale sprint car. I have bought a roller with some parts. I have everything together execpt the throttle linkage from the servo to the motor. Im hoping to take it out this sunday at Luddenham but running out of time to figure out the best way to set up. Would any one be able to put up a pic or 2 of how theirs is set up? I only have 1 poor quality photo of the set up atm but i guess a lot of set ups are simmilar. Any help would be tops.

Hi Peter, yes I have been told it was yours. I made a cable set up today- works well. Now only prob is I have bought a new motor and the clutch shoes seem to be way to tight on the grinder side. What motor did you have in this car Peter? Hope to see you out there tomorrow.

Another option for servo mounting......I used one high quality servo and mounted it right off the motor so that if I moved the motor to adjust the chain, the linkage stayed the same. This direct mount is very compact, simple and light weight and there is very little to go wrong. Also, this setup makes for a very responsive throttle. Attachments:
