hey guys, i just want to know who out there runs a go pro or simelier and how they mount it. i have a countour style camera coming and i want to mount it onto my dirt mod for this weekend. i was just thinking race tape but any thoughts?

Brooke,
Fitted a Go Pro to my sprintcar a few years back. I made a support bar and clamped it into the chassis cockpit, about drivers head height. Then I bolted one of the Go Pro quick release fittings to the support and attached the camera.
This is from the very 1st time on the track!
Go to approx 2 minutes in, to see the real action start!
Clinton and Shazz did a lot of incar footage a while back.

thanks guys. i think i comes with a valcro strap to mount. had a gopro hero but got lost after dad got involved in a crash at real speedway. selling all the mounting kit for the gopro as we bought a contour style camera off ebay. hopefully turns up before this weekend
