I'm certain that I speak for all SSME/LQSS members in saying our thoughts and prayers are with Jeff Griffith. Jeff is scheduled to undergo fairly major brain surgery today, for the removal of a largish growth from the left side of his head.
From what I gleaned from Jeff, the growth is not threatening or cancerous, however his medics have determined that it should come out. All surgery is dangerous and one would think that any procedure on the head has it's own complications.
This operation will keep Jeff away from work for 3 month recovery stint, I believe.
