I never cease to be amazed at what pops up on the 'net. Forum member dtw posted this photo elsewhere. He was involved in a totally different discussion, re the orange hot rod All I could see were the 14 ?? 1/4 scale RC sprintcars, plus 2 modifieds in the shelves in the background.......holy smoke!!! There are collections out there like this that make you shudder with excitement......

Sent you some more photos Bob. I have some large ones of them if the ones I sent don't come up large enough, I just need to find them. I'll let you post them though, you do a better job.

Hey Paul, Now that's funny and very true, as we recall from all those years ago. I should try and find the photo that instigated Paul's comment.

Through the internet I've met many, many people involved in the 1/4 scale hobby, from all over the world. We share friendship, stories, photos and so much more. I've never met dtw, yet we talk regularly. The surprising thing is we only live a couple of hundred klms apart and it was the net that introduced us. People in the small hobby of 1/4 scale cars share lots and Dan... aka dtw.... is amongst the best. He has a collection of photos, information and bits and pieces that astounds me. These are the rest of the photos courtesy of dtw, that go with the collection at the top of this thread. Thanks my friend, never get tired of the surprises you sent me.
I'm thinking this dude must have one of, if not the best collection of 1/4 scale sprintcars in the world! And that's not mentioning the rest of the collection!

Bob. You are always welcome to any info I have. I think you underestimate how much people like me appreciate what you do for the hobby. Without you posting things and sharing your own information and photos there would be a stack of thing we never knew about the hobby. I'll copy the photos I have here and drop them down when I'm in Sydney (and I still need to get those plans to you). It'll just take a while to get done. There are maybe 18000 or 20000 photos....at a guess.
That car hiding up in the corner of that shot certainly looks like a pretty tidy Pacesetter. Would be nice to see more, but the trouble is getting more photos of the collection is unlikely.
It's a bit like a certain collection in Germany. I would love to get in there and have a look too, but I doubt that will happpen.

Dan, I think that collection in Germany may contain a few Jan Gilmer midgets. This is according to the man himself! That is if it is the same person that spends heaps on 1/4 scale cars!
