JW from WA sent me some photos of his latest racing car. Smartech Traveller with wings....he's calling it a 1/4 scale F500. Without the wings it's a legal midget!
From JW.... Its based on a Smartec speedcar and is legal as such in WA. With the help of Jeff and Dave from Hyper Racing and Tripple OOO Racing Products the wings were made to scale as a Formula 500. My Idea is to be able to race 2 classes with the same car (economical racing) Sinse this car was developed OOO now have orders for 6 more roll cages and wings. Not sure if its the way for everybody but its somthing to talk/think about.

Hi Guys dont have pictures but will get some and post. Will talk to the boys abot price and forward. I ran the car last night at the end of the meeting and it was awsome just need to get it turning in a bit better,(maybe a bit more stagger but its tricky without locked diff)but traction and speed were unbeleivable .
Thanx JW

tbhi reckon that looks alot better then the sprintcars. what about a wingless sprint class based on the baja 5b? they run the in america all you do is mount the body and go racing. another cost effective design/thought?
