1/4 scale sprintcars have always been popular!
This picture was taken at the 2003 Australian Championships, held at Luddenham Speedway.
One of the best looking cars to ever grace LQSS was Rob Richards' magnificent Design FX #24 car. Guess who picked up best presented sprintcar!
Parked beside is SA racer Dave Smith who made the long trip up from local track Penfield Speedway using planes, trains and and a taxi hoping his sprintcar was there to meet him at the track with Keith Noble.
That's committment!
