Anyone know anything about these blown Offy motors being built in Victoria?

Bob After much searching over the last week, I finally found the site that picture came from. Link is below (or Google Castlemaine Rods 2002 Saturday. I told you it was on an obscure site) members.iinet.net.au/~borisviskovic/castlemainesaturday2.htmlNot sure if the pictures still come up on it for you (they're not for me), but it mentions the offy as: This scale model of a blown Offy was unbelievable. The guy builds them completely from scratch. He makes the patterns and casts and machines every single piece of the engine. AMAZING!
The old guy (sorry, I've forgotten his name) worked for a company that did a lot of the pattern making for the Ford Motor Company. At one time he had an XY Falcon ute that he had specially ordered with full GT running gear. I wonder where that is now.Maybe if he was an old guy showing the motors in Castlemaine he lives somewhere around that Region. That might narrow the search down a bit. Regards Dan
