Having just visited Gary Conley in Chicago, he showed me a quick change he will produce in the future. It will retail at $600. It will be some time before it hits the market. He's backed up with orders for his V8s!

Thanks for that bob, I have heard that the quick changes from quarter mortar aren't very good quality I'm not to sure what to do, I was going to make my own as I have a ring gear and pinion from quarter mortar, just not sure if I should use them as I have been told they aren't good quality

Talk to Mike Casey at QSL. He has seen many quick-changes through the years and I think he may have a different opinion than you. Anyway...just passing on options for you!

From the man himself................ Hi Bob. I can not get the gear that you need . Everyone down there wants something up around 8 to 1 The best i can do is 6.2 to 1. I have spent a large amount of time. on gear searches. The space in the back is full up and it would take a huge spur gear to get what you need. In my searches i have not been able to find a helical or a straight cut bevel ring and pinion gear that will go above a 3.66 to 1 ratio. If i ever do locate a bigger gear set you guys will be the first to know. John

morrie...i run skellenger diffs and the best ratio for me is 6.8-7.2. but i run a tyre thats near 7''tall . . if you ran say 6.2 i would think you would have to run a tyre about 5''tall .

Robert, That may be so, however this one does have the serial number stamped in the correct place.....in the section between the top of drop gear section and the crown gear casing. Can't read the number, but it's there!

Hi Bob, I understand its a skellenger rear end, I was more alluding to the possibility that the input shaft may been modified

Hi Bob, I understand its a skellenger rear end, I was more alluding to the possibility that the input shaft may been modified Gaday Guys nope its not moifyed that is the way Skellenger made the input shaft for the delara cars as they ran two dog bone style uni joints made by Octura so what happend was the diff had a cup that had a crub screw than went into the shaft of the diff and also into the femail dog bone cup and a floating shaft with the male dogbones on each end. I have a 2 diffs that had that setup ezzy to change over to spline .the splines also came out in two lenghts as well Short for the WCM sprints And standard lenght that was used for the nascars .Brad

Gaday Guys Also Take note if you thinking about buy this diff the fin's on the side bearing cups have been milled for the touque arm that the delara cars run so if you just after a diff Yer its ok But if after the looks you will need to replace then as they look uggly Machined off as per pick .Side cups are out there but you will be paying about $60 USD+ FOR THEM Brad
