I see a company in the 'States is producing a 1/4 midget. Not much info other than a photo of the chassis.
Here's the link www.acechassisco.com/

Brad, No mate I'm not getting one. Just posted for all to see......and a neat looking chassis I thought!
Dave, Buddy you seem to have this misguided idea that everything in 1/4 scale is too bludy expensive. It's not!!! Go out and buy the tubing, then build a jig and produce a chassis yourself...then you will realise how reasonably priced things are. Nobody building anything in 1/4 scale has made any money....they all do it because they want to put something into the hobby. The scale is a very small market-place The best way to end up with $100,000 in this hobby is to start with a $200,000 investment.

Randy Brown, the guy building the midgets lives on the outskirts of Paris Illinois, a rural town 2.5 hrs drive south of Chicago. If we get enough cash then we'll be able to go the scenic route........ ... via Paris France.... ;D

After the 5.5hr drive over to Conley's place near Chicago, Jeff and I headed 3 hrs south to Paris Illinois, to catch up with Randy Brown. Randy's the builder of the chassis above. Sadly Randy had nothing to show us, other than this half of the sprintcar that will follow the midget. We arrived on a Monday and he said that his only 1/4 scale midget chassis was on its way to Australia, the previous Friday. I'm lead to believe that it still has not arrived? We were also hoping to see his midget body, that he had suggested would be around mid August. No such luck. Randy started out in RC by building metal cages with bodies for 1/10th scale cars.It was successful and he was bought out. The next move was to 1/4 scale. This was a long day.We left Knoxville at 4.00am and arrived back at 2.30am the next day...
