Gaday guys Just wanted to know how you guy remove the old powder coating before getting the chassis redone as I'm ready to now remove the ugly (vomit )green and get it redone in black . So is there a trick other than sanding and sanding and some more sanding thanks Brad

you can remove it by burning it off it;s only plastic remember or you can strip it hot or cold , any way you will still need to get it sandblasted after, what condition is the powdercoating in now because you can get a a hot coat on it .they heat up the chassie in there batch oven and spray the new colour while the chassie is still hot job done !!!!if you were in brissie i could do it for you been a coater for 23years

paint stripper is ok but if the welds have any pin hole's the stripper will leak out of the tube for ever and ruin the new finish,

if you have a open fire just stick it in and give it an hour then let it cool on its own as the metal will weeken it you cool it with water
