1961 Salem..
In April Eastern Champ A J Foyt (inside) and Mid-west Champ Parnelli Jones ('61 was the last time there were two #1s ) go at it in a USAC Sprintcar Feature on the 1/2 mile paved track.
Trouble is........looks like somebody forgot to tell the boys they weren't on dirt. Foyt won... Jones 2nd
