Why the question Mat is something illegal with your car you want to clarify, you can always ring me as you did this morning or is there an ulterior motive. Very puzzling, expected more from you Mat!

Hi guys As the ex sprintcar rep, the regs have been 18x13 or 15x15 (top wing) for more than 8 years. The side panels were changed (2 years ago) to 18" on both to flow with Outlaw & other state regs.
I dont know of 15x16.5 ever being in the regs (at least at SSME).
The only change Im aware of is the front wing.
Hope that helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talking to the manufacturer to see why they are the size they are. Lets not forget that I have them also and I assumed that they were right at the time I bought them. Before much more discussion is entered into, the supplier should be given the right of reply!!

D boxes and any form of electronic aid are band in NSW. So are boost bottle for that matter.
There will be some form of scruteneering in June. Hopefully this disclosure will not scare anyone away. I am confident that all competitors out there are racing legally.

i spoke to jack from jacattac wings last night and he is sorry the wings are the wrong size but he did originally only make one for brian williams and it was the same former size as his f500 front wing and then someone inqiured about one and so on. as of now he will bring the wings back into legal size from now on. he does appolagize for any trouble this may of caused as he didn't honestly know thw wings we're oversize

Please Guys.. Just take a minute and a big deep breath. There are solutions to every problem it is just up to us to find one. We wll not turn anyone away from the titles. I think what is needed in this case is some input from all states in relation to havig a uniformed specification sheet for ALL classes not just sprintcars.. The biggest thing that will ruin this title is rumours and scuttlebutt. If you a concern or question please call someone in AUTHORITY and not your mate... Also no need to run off selling cars before a comprimise can be reached. The more cars the better the racing.. Remember this a HOBBY and we dont race for sheepstations/cattle stations or 1 million dollars prizemoney. May cool heads prevail. Peter Rodger Asst Section leader SSME 1/4 scale section.

Wings.Dont see much of a problem 15"wide 18" sides and whats in between is in between, this would allow us home made hobbyist's room for a slight miscalculation when bending and trying to rivet the bloody things. And for those whom race for sheep stations if an extra inch does it for them who gives a rats rectum. JW W7 Jim Waddell PS If a D box doe's it for you then you belong on a sheep station.
