Back in 2001 Bullet Racecars were asked to display at Big Boys Toys Expo in Darling Harbour.
On the set up day Terry Bennett, Frank Adam and I created havoc when the organiser asked us to do some demo laps inside the Exhibition Centre.
"You're kidding" we said as we fired up the cars before he changed his mind. People dropped everything and came from all over as the noise echoed through the Centre and watched us doing fairly quick demo laps. The whole action was filmed by A Current Affair. I can recall the cameraman placing his expensive camera on the floor and saying drive as fast and as close as you can. I said that I wasn't to sure about that. He said not to worry as it was Channel 9's camera. I told him I was worried about my sprintcar, not his camera.... as I owned the car.
The footage was shown the next night on ACA as part of the promo for the Expo.
And I cannot find the tape...bugger.
