The modern day high bar sprintcar was born in 1986. I was born the wrong era, as this is my idea of a sprintcar. I've posted it before , but just had to put these new pics up.... Man the vice squad should pull these photos...this is sex on 4 wheels.. The car builders of the day had an eye for detail...check out the E...for Ellison, in the front crash bar and the top of the leather seat...doesn't happen now..

Bob to my mind the "60s was the greatest era for cars with character.Beautiful lines.great paint jobs and sign writing (not like todays stick ons) and an absolute eye for detail.I was there and as much as I love modern sprintcar racing the presentation is not there in the modern throw away racecars.
