Ben emailed me some photos of the track at Mulbring today. I'll go and try it out asap. Spoke to Greg R tonight and he will bring a car as well, when I organise with Ben when we can get there. Anyone else......looks like being tomorrow week, Saturday 26th, at this point.
Looks like a nicely prepared surface!

hey beano.. is your track visible from the road, is your property on the road from kurri to freemans and almost oposite the cessnock turnoff. if so i been there once. your old man lives up on the hill to keep an eye on things if it is the same place im thinking of. real easy to get to.

Greg R and I spent a couple of hours running on Ben Shields junior solo practice track this morning. The track is on 180 acres of land so there are no noise issues.
As stated earlier, the track has a 89 metre pole line and is now fenced on the front straight. It's a wide track and the front and rear straights are on different levels. You go up the hill to the back straight and down the hill to the finnish/front straight. Superb surface when watered......fluffy and very grippy! It's a FAST track. Ben would love to see some sought of a picnic race day at his track, so as many people as possible could come and try it out!

The dirt real fine, packs down hard ,and I think Ben said it was just as he graded the paddock.And it is very fast.

This photo is going "down the the hill" through turns 3 and 4. Man you pick up speed going onto the front straight.

Greg Renwick was back at Mulbring last week with some Modified body parts for Ben.
He took this photo of the real large scale ....1/3ish maybe, R/C sprintcar that Shieldsy is putting together. Will run GoKart wheels/tyres and a 50cc KTM engine.
I want to be there for it's 1st run in anger!!.

I believe Ben is currently racing solo bikes in Scandinavia. When he gets back I hope to get some LQSS/SSME members to the place.
Greg R may have more info on Ben!

Rang Ben last month and his parents said he will back late October. As I give him some Dirt Mod panels to use as fibreglass moulds. Will try and contact him early next month.
Getting a bit keen are you Bandit ??
