The track at Mulbring NSW

Ben Shields....aka Beno81... emailed me these photos of the track he has cut into his property at Mulbring, near Kurri Kurri, NSW.

I reckon come early next year, we should take some cars to Mulbring 1/4 Scale Speedway and have a run. Might be able to get another club going there. That pole on turn 1 slash 4... should keep everyone aware of their lines! I bags one of the infield spectator seating!

Update...just spoke to Ben and he tells me that conveyor belt is to be put around the track..."A la LQSS' a while ago!!!

legally it dosnt matter about noise and dust if its zoned as a rural property
but it is cutesy to let your neighbors know whats goin on

we went through all noise problem from one person that wouldnt stop complaining about our local RC Plane club, she lived behind the club and just complained all the time but didnt have a leg to stand on because the club was zoned as a rural property

well i live on 180 akers and all my nabers are my family lol and we race speedway bikes on the farm on satdays so we can run any time .....

Just curious...Do you guys get much Rain? We have to design drains in the infield to help get the water out.

Yes mate we can get hit by heavy rain. LQSS has 2 sumps in each end of the infield, with have pipes attached that lead out under the back straight....although they are currently blocked by work done on an adjacent buggy track..... ... a problem that will have to be addressed.

Jezza races a sprintcar at Henderson 1/4 scale speedway, Perth.....so he will not pop up at Mulbring unannounced..... ...then again knowing Jezza...you just never know

I received an SMS last evening from Ben telling me that the track at Mulbring is now finished and looks "smick an awesome"!
Has a 89 metre pole line and is 140 metres around the outside. Waiting on some photos.
