Many moons ago, Bob & I were thinking of writing a comprehensive history of 1/4 scale sprintcars in Australia. We've decided to put those thoughts in motion and get the wheels turning.
So we're calling upon you - the passionate and tragic members of this great community to tell us all that you know (or remember).
Anything & everything will be greatly appreciated - whether it's a detailed insight into the conception of the sport, telling us who won the Vic title in 1999 or just a fond memory of racing.. so get thinking, and put that pen to paper!
;D

OK People..... Through listening, talking to people, gathering information and so on..etc etc, Kristen and I have a reasonable base, at which we can attempt to start this project. We need more info, anything will do however trivial it may seem. One never knows how vital it could be! Geez.. I sound like the police after a major crime... So come on.....let us know what you know and think that we don't know...if you follow my drift!!!!

Bob, Sid Moore brought a 1/4 scale sprintcar back from the States and I'm guessing 20-30 years ago.Saw it once, remember it was black and pretty as a picture.Never saw it or heard of it again. Will try and find out its history and what its life in Australia was.

Gaday Guys the car Sid brought back from the states was given to Mitchell his Grand son in his younger days an was used pushed around on the floor for some time .once he was older it used as a RC was also raced at luddenhan at a meet. I was only looking at the picks I have last night .Ive been told by my painter that the car is still in there possession at the shop.Brad

Brad said..... "I was only looking at the picks I have last night." Brad, I like to see those photos. I thought the car was in Brian O'Shannessey's workshop at Whittlesea, Victoria
