Just saw these figures.....and these are average speeds..  ....what's the speed on the straights... 
what's that in KPH....um... very fast
Eldora .43mile =135MPH
Williams Grove .53 mile =135MPH
Selinsgrove .54 mile =136MPH

Bob Found this site a while back and its handy for such things. The answer is around 217KPH, they must have good brakes let alone reaction speed. Too......quick. What would that be in quarter scale? around 55KPH, is that not what you said to me you clocked at LQSS, we are quick, aren't we. Not me but others anyway. www.mr2ownersclub.com/converter.htm |

Jose,
Fastest speed clocked at LQSS is 60kph by a sprintcar. A number of cars have reached that speed. That was 3/4 years ago. Nobody has come close recently...55kph is the best, as you said......the arrival of the new dirt soon, may change things.

i love eldora thats got to be one of the best speedway tracks over there cannot wait to get over there to see it for real one day

Gary Brazier's crash at Eldora on the 17th July. This place even looks FAST on video.....
They get really close to the fence at a 135mph average speed... ...Braz got a little too close....
