Hey All,
I attended the 1/4 scale speedway yesterday, slowly getting the bug, damn you Jose and Bob Jeffreson
Jose was most accommodating to me once again, he even offered me a quick pedal of his nice #62 sprint car for a few laps during the short lunch break, I must admit I was a tad scared of putting it into the fence and bending his nice machine since I hadn't driven anything like this before.
I actually found it reasonably easy to pilot the beast around the well groomed surface, albeit at a greatly reduced pace compared to the talented drivers I have seen.
Jose, I understand you have several of these machines floating around, I might even poke you with a stick and see if you would like to sell one to a novice such as myself one day..!
Once again, many thanks to Jose for his help and allowing me to burn several liters of jet fuel during yesterday's event ;D
