Doesn't this looks remarkably like Peter's tail........HHmmmm... The American modified is a Nance, built in 1976 and now being restored......maybe Swindell saw this car also??

Here's another couple of examples of tails before PR produced his... From the pages of Open Wheel, September 1985 the Sargent brother's cars out of California. They are the sons of the legendary racer Marshall Sargent. Seems these tails were very popular in the day!!!
Just in case PR wants to change from black next year, here's a colour photo....neat lookin' car.... ....just picture Franks Auto Parts on the wing...

I actually made the tank in memory of George John Tatnell whom in later life became a really good friend. He liked to buck tradition some times too..Pete

If you look there is something odd with the Johnson "Offy" or have they found a way to reverse drive the engine the exhaust is how i remember on the right side GB
