The Chili Bowl is on this coming weekend in Tulsa OKlahoma. Entry list is currently at 263...... This race brings out the weirdest midgets one will ever see... Wait till you see the midget a guy named Johnny Murdock has come up with this year. Almost looks like it's based on a TF dragster......it's bloody horrible. Trying to find a good photo to load here!!!

Hi Bob this is Double D at Coody creek Speedway. There is also a Chili Bowl Jr. this is a three day race for 1/10 & 1/8 scale cars. We going to show the 1/4 scale sprints too. Last last couple of years they have had some Nascar drivers come in and even some sprint car drivers. this is a big thing for the R/C sport.

The photographer from Hoseheads West 2010 wasted a shot with this photo, although I suppose there is now another record of the ugliest midget ever built....

Whats so ugly about that car. Why cant someone think outside the square..Maybe its about time we had a rethink on what constitutes a race car..

Peter, I'm just a silly old traditionalist. I don't even like what passes for sprintcars and midgets today. This is the what they should look like.... in my opinion...... ...beautiful curves with lots of style and proportion! Chromed headers....knock-offs...grilles... roll-bars However "duty of care" meant these magnificent cars could no longer be!

Maybe they should bring the "ugly duckling" to OZ. No one talks about midgets on the east coast, but that would get some interest. Any publicity is good publicity.
