I travelled down to Victoria last weekend with the Tricorp Microsprint Team for the Australian and Victorian Microsprint Titles. The Australian Title was run at The Southern 500 Speedway, just north of Portland, in south western Victoria, on Saturday night.. Past LQSS member Brett Finucune grabbed 2nd place in the Australian Title, behind sprintcar ace, Troy Little. Mal Paton another past member of LQSS and owner of Team Tricorp had a weekend he'd rather forget. His driver Jay Hall was running comfortably in 2nd in the Aussie Title, when the radiator hose let go, putting him out. Jay had qualified 1st on the grid for that race. Next night at the wonderful little Laang Speedway, just east of Warrnambool, Jay again was running 2nd, behind the eventual winner Troy Little, when the motor let go. Poor old Mal cannot take a trick.......

**** Update on Brett **** After finishing 2nd in the Australian Title, Brett's owner Terry Bond has decided to put the beautiful #27 Microsprint up for sale. That'll teach Brett for only running 2nd.......
