PLEASE, do you guys have any special tricks or companies that you use to ship stuff from the USA? Everytime someone wants something big from here, I feel stupid quoting them the $500-$700 that UPS or fedex wants for shipping a stupid $200 body!!!

Mike, I get everything sent by US Post. It's the cheapest and best I've found. So far I've had 5 sprintcars sent this way. One minor problem and that was between Customs and Australia Post, not your guys. They have insurance also. Everything can be tracked. Give US Post a try mate.

I agree and use the US post when I can. The problem is that they cant take big packages. A sprint car is the largest you can send. The limitations for the USPS is 36" long with a maximum girth of 79" including the length. Girth is the width and hight times two. Another words, the body I just sent you bob, was just about the maximum. It was 36" long and 10"wide x 10" wide. That makes it 76" girth. As you can see sending a body thats 40-60" long and 20" wide and 13" tall is impossible with USPS.

Mike, I was unaware of those restrictions....I've never imported anything so large. Who, in the local membership is getting something that big sent out....JOSE what are you up to now??

Bob...I always tried to stay just at the 36" OAL +79" girth which is why you got your shipping so cheap and it was sent in 100 pieces.

William, Mate, I love cheapness. We specialise in it here at CHOAS Fine Jewellery.
